Promising Swedish label Gterma returns with another beauty by German drone virtuoso, Mathias Grassow. While his first Gterma release "Sky" was revised and edited old classic from 2000, "Alchemystery" is new double album composed by Mathias during 2010 and released in February 2012. The first CD, entitled as "Alchemy Suite…
It's always a great pleasure to review album "Made in Slovakia" that is somehow related to ambient genre. Yes, of course both protagonists of Oxyd (and Disharmony), Lord Sauron and Ryby, always venture into other styles like industrial, electro, dark ambient or IDM, but why not to give a try to this richly…

Sensual and seductive. Two words that do not spring immediately to mind when seeking to describe an ambient release but ones that make sense... at least to me... when used to describe “lost links” by Max Corbacho from the…

In honor…

It's been a few years since anything of ours made it out of the woodshed, but that changed a few days ago when If We Had Known... was added to our Soundcloud page. In 'typical' Sampson - Ayers fashion, it's all voices.

Many thanks for the birthday greetings, time flies when your in the soundcurrent! Here is a photo artifact of early analog man from Oct 1978.
A friend had 2 of those rare Synth A's suitcase synths you see here and I worked with them for about a year. They were great for opening up ideas for non keyboard based zoneworlds at the time, this spirit of adventure lives today in my current modular system.
The journey continues!…
